An important perspective changing perspective
I want to share an experience with you that really shed some light on "perspective", and I feel it is one of the most important insights to awaken to while we are all on this Earthly journey together!
So one time during a Higher Consciousness Parenting class, a group of us were online together and we did this experiment...
We looked at three different abstract art paintings made by my youngest son, and each person shared what they saw and what they felt.
It was so amazing how everyone said something different, and some really funny things came up. People saw birds, elegant woman, frogs, insects, clouds, an elephant, a dragon...
When we focused on seeing what the other person was describing, we looked differently and then we could all see it too.
Isn't that interesting?
So after we had all called out various different things... it was time to do a simple and short meditation. The intent of the meditation is to use your intent to raise your vibration, to align your energy with your higher / universal consciousness, to create a sacred space and just feel that you are really shifting your energy!
This is the meditation here below...you can do the experiment yourself and look at the paintings, write down what you see and feel, and then do this meditation which is less than 10 minutes.
The next thing we did after the meditation and shifting our energy into our higher vibrational space, was look at each painting again...
The question was, "So, what do you see and feel now?"
It was truly facinating to hear how everyone was experiencing new things and seeing things completely differently.
Clouds turned into pure light, the images they had seen before were no longer the focus the point, people experienced more expansion and beauty...
But you see, what changed?
You are still looking at the same image right? So what changed was...
YOU!
So the message is... you shift your energy, you change your vibration and your perspective changes too. How you see things and experience things CHANGES.
You could be in the exact same situation and place yourself in five different vibrations and moods or states of being, and your perspective will be different each time!
So what influences our perspective?
We have already learnt now that one thing is our vibration...
Another thing is our "mind filter", the part of the human analytical mind that contains our belief system which is really based on our programmed blocks and colored by our past experiences causing us to project and make associations.
So what is really real and what is truly true?
The truth is that I don't know...
Reality and truth is very personal, and actually that is the beauty of it. That is the gift. That is the Joy... at least when you realize that YOU can change your perspective!
For the human mind it is beyond annoying that there isn't just one truth or at least that it's truth is the true truth... because then it can be "right" and hopefully rest. :-)
Even when we share certain visions and perspectives that we resonate with in a group, within that reality or vision, each individual will have their own perspective and experience... and it can change at any moment!
Now that is infinite possibilities right there for you. :-)
For me this perspective on perspective gives a lot of inner peace, and unconditional love for everyone's path and view on life. It has inspired me even more than before to make sure that before I gain perspective on anything, that I am consciously in my higher vibrational space... and when I see things in a way that feels more heavy or even painful, I can understand now where that kind of perspective is coming from and I can shift it more easily.
It's awesome to share our perspectives with each other because we can learn so much from that. It is fun to see things through different eyes. We each have our own gifts and unique divine formula and sometimes someone elses perspective can be a portal to a new perspective, discovery or insight of your own.
